And every time I get to put my hand on my heart, it’s truly an honor — you know, the military, for me I think about my family members who have served, and friends — I train down in San Diego all the time, so I’m around the Navy and I see those guys around. And all they do for our country and the people in Afghanistan and all these people fighting. 9/11, for example, coming up — that’s going to be our first game and I think about all the pain from that.   1. I’m not one of those regional fans. I was behind Peyton where ever he went. I like the Patriots. Which makes no sence because I live in Cali. And I just found my new QB I’ll be routing for.

  2. I have a different appreciation for Russell Wilson now. I’m not his biggest fan, I don’t care for a celebrity quarterback. But this shows a side of him I didn’t know was there. Well said.

  3. A perfect contrast between a winner and a loser! Wilson is a probable Hall of Famer, Kaepernick is a jerk who may be out of the league soon. Not for his beliefs, but for his lack of character and poor work ethic, which is apparently commensurate with his attitude!

  15. Good for Russell. The really good ones are usually the most humble because they know how thankful one should be for extraordinary blessings received (of course hard work helps a little). It appears that Colin is thinking more with his little head rather than his big head. (I’ll still cheer for my Pats & Brady over the Seahawks, however.)

    Despite her Hollywood style, a baby (not Wilson’s) and rapper baby daddy, she seems to have some conservative values.
    Wilson got it right this time, but don’t count on him being a stand up conservative with every issue. He dropped the ball with the HB2 legislation.
