WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. President Donald Trump’s attorney Jay Sekulow told reporters on Friday that his team “will address” the Democrats leaving the door wide open for potentially calling Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, as witnesses during the Senate impeachment trial.
Sekulow is one of Trump’s legal advocates in his Senate impeachment trial. It remains unclear whether new witnesses will be allowed to participate in the ongoing trial.
Senate Majority Leader McConnell (R-KY) has said he would ultimately allow for a vote for both parties to call their witnesses.
Sekulow, Trump’s longtime attorney, declared:

After watching that second day where the Progs spent 1/2 of the day talking about the Bidens, those “Double Doors” were on a B-52 hanger. They not only opened them, they knocked them of the rails so they couldn’t close them, then proceeded to burn down the hanger itself around Joe & his son, without realizing what they actually exposed themselves to. We all know if Joe & his son are arrested/indicted, they will both be singing like an aviary full of canaries entrapping all of them as well. That is unless Arkancide comes into play on both of them before they are able to start chirping.

You can also watch the trial on CBSN, if you have access on your TV. The only good part of the Prog commentary is they have been having Turley on in most of the segments & he has been blowing MOAB sized holes in the Progs Crapshow testimony.
If the prosecution brings something up it introduces it to the court, then the defense has the right to address it in court. They brought it up, they have to accept it being part of what the defense is allowed to question them about.
That’s pretty much standard legal procedure, the same way the prosecution has the right to address anything the defense introduces on behalf of the defendant.
Do they -the Democrats- have no understanding of legal procedures or even know what they are doing? The people writing our laws have no idea what they mean or how to follow them?
It as of now appears the Progs may have lost both the Collins & Murkowski votes for additional witnesses, because of the statement Schiff made about “Heads on a pike”, which he stated not only once, but twice during his closing. Both of these women took great offense to that statement & really chastised him for it & each both basically said that he lost them.

This is not a ‘legal’ proceeding, it is a political one. Legal proceedings do not allow hearsay into the record. This procedure is littered with that.

So far none has been introduced as evidence in the actual trial (Senate), and the House hearings were the equivalent of a Grand Jury type of hearing where hearsay is frequently introduced to bring an indictment.
Further, it is presided over by the Chief Justice which makes it a legal proceeding and subject to legal rules. Whether he’ll allow hearsay is still to be seen.
President Trumps attorneys are starting to speak now at the trial. Within 10 minutes they are already destroying the Progs testimony, turning that testimony into the “Hindenburg Fire”.
Well as far as the democRATz opening the door for Biden, I say throw it wide open and book him Danno!
