Good one loco! I was looking for Blazing Saddles the other night, didn’t find it.
I love that man. He sees beyond color. Color doesn’t define who he his. His charaacter defines who he is.
Clark has made some nice sound bite statements that have merited widespread attention. However, I keep seeing an arrogance and level of entitlement in him that I don’t care for one bit. Here’s a recent example. Siccing deputies on a man and detaining him for the merest hint of anything less than hero worship is flat out wrong and speaks ill of Clarke’s character.
Unlike Obutthole, I would vote for Sheriff Clark in a heartbeat knowing that the Sheriff has more colored blood in him than the asswipe that invaded the White House.
I think I’d get along well with that guy.

@CDV – So, anybody would have done what Clarke did if only they had a gang of armed agents to forcibly detain someone who was merely impolite and not even very much of that? Bless your heart for giving Clarke the benefit of the doubt but I submit to you that your charity is misplaced. “Safely to the dock” in the face of what danger? when I think of Sheriff Clarke or my two black conservative friends, the last thing that passes through my mind is the color of their skin. You all gotta grow up.

Sheriff Clark has now moved up to #1 on my list of favorite sheriffs, now that Joe Arpiao has retired. I also like what’s-his-name over in Pima county.

I listen closely whenever Sheriff Clarke is being interviewed. He makes so much sense and he does not mince words.

Clarke is a well known and respected surname in Ireland.
He should be proud of his heritage, as he is.
@Uncle Al: I believe you are correct in your assessment of Clarke. Some people handle fame better than others, and he needs to keep some sense of humility. Power that is given can be just as easily taken back.
