Signs Ryan Not Heavy Lifting On Obamacare Repeal

House Republicans are going to be treated to number of different provisions that could be included in an Obamacare replacement package in a briefing by the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan today.  This is instead of an actual repeal bill for them to vote on and get the process of getting rid of the ACA moving forward.

The signs of stalling out were all the more obvious yesterday when Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) took to the stage with members of the House Freedom Caucus to roll out their own proposal for replacing the hated health care law.

I seem to remember another Speaker who passed a bill so quickly that they didn’t even have time to read it.  You should consider the advantages of pushing forward and not losing momentum on this key promise to the country.

  1. davy, i lost trust long ago, they have not proven their worth, are still not listening to the loud echoes of 11/8/16

if they don’t line up behind trump, if they don’t get on board and start paddling together quickly, the next elections will be fascinating

we have the opportunity of a lifetime to change course, and you can see the desperation on the left, trying to trip this admin at every step, because that’s all they have now

boot these rinos to the curb, once and for all

  2. One must remember that when draining a massive swamp at first it appears to be draining slowly. We are on a roll and there is no turning back the RINO’s will soon be circling the drain.

  3. This over rated imbecile has never been on the side of the people. President Trump needs a new speaker, this one is in the Benedict Arnold fan club. He needs to be steam rolled!

  4. Ryan never wanted the end result to be “repeal” of obamacare.
He’s pushed the replace, re-write scenario for months.
He wants to keep the Unconstitutional tax money generated.
Lyin’ Rino Ryan, take it to the bank.

  5. Either Trump steps up and calls the Rs out on the REPEAL they’ve been barking about for years (as Coulter points out) or he continues to do nothing and the taxpower monster ends up staying pretty much intact under different management. Expect nothing from the Rs unless they’re threatened with utter defeat, but for Trump, this issue will be the surest way to know if Trump is for real…or if the pre-election fears about him actually are true and we’ve been royally had.

  6. I need not point out that if it all turns out to be a headfake, the Left will pull out every last stop to ensure we NEVER EVER have another chance like we have now, and we will be done for good.

  7. Eddie Munster needs to have his windpipe constricted for a couple of minutes–just enough to where he knows he’s turning blue, but still conscious and able to hear the admonition,”Next time, I may not let you go in time–“.
I’m sure he’ll understand the meaning.

  8. This guy was bragging about how many times they voted to repeal Obozocare. Of course that was knowing they had no chance in hell it would get past Obozo. Now that they can actually do it-he’s dragging his feet. We should drag him out with votes next election which fortunately is not that far away.
