It’s one thing to protect the Great Lakes from diversion that would drain nature’s wonder away forever. It’s another thing to use access to its water for a social justice agenda.
The prosperous and staunchly Conservative Wisconsin city of Waukesha is seeking to tap Lake Michigan for its water needs. Their mayor says that according to the Great Lakes Basin agreement, they have a right to do so.
“To do this, we would withdraw one one-millionth of 1 percent of Great Lakes water. And then return the same amount back to the lakes, after use and advanced treatment. So there is no harm to the Great Lakes.”
A coalition of environmental extremist, the ACLU and NAACP want to deny Waukesha the water because “diverting water to the suburbs will worsen segregation and racial disparities in the region.”
In other words, we’re going to force you to submit to the poorly governed inner-city of Milwaukee by denying you water for your community.
Milwaukee has drawing its water from Lake Michigan for over 140 years.
i live close to Erie and I’ve had it up to here (“here” being the top of Terminal Tower) with these liberal fucksticks. No wonder I don’t go to any more of my wife’s friends’ hippie wannabe gatherings anymore.
Is there a downside to this that I’m not getting?
I’m gonna try a variation of that line in the bar tonight:
“Bartender, I would like to withdraw one one-millionth of 1 percent of your best and then return the same amount back, after use and advanced treatment”.

Speaking of diversion, the SJW’s will forget all about the water when they get hammered for that sombrero. That’s a grande no-no.
