SNL Tries To Be Funny at the Expense of the Jan 6 Committee – They Fail

I think after ratings tumbled with their constant haranguing of the right they think the road to prosperity is the skewering of the left.

They just aren’t funny.

It’s a bit cringe.

  1. The field of talent in Hollywood is barren. The best part of the entertainment world is betting on which irrelevant actress is gonna complain about abuse from years ago to get her name back in the news.

  2. The fact that anyone sees any humor in what the establishment Republicans and Democrats have been up to is evidence of their contemptibility, not to mention, neither are all that funny.

  3. Uncle Al — I don’t know, but it seems they were all laughing at their own jokes. Sorta like trolls thumbing up their own comments, huh.

Not only not funny; annoying. Couldn’t watch the entire thing. Wonder what the YT comments are.

  4. They one thing that would have made that “comedy” sketch really funny, would be Dementia Joe running around that kangaroo court committee while chasing a teenage girl trying to sniff her hair.
Then, stopping every once in a while mumble something incoherent, followed by one of his dumb phases like; “Not a joke, man”. “Corn Pop was a bad dude”, ” Your a lying dog-faced pony soldier”, etc.
    Now that would be funny.

  5. These people aren’t comics, they’re amateur actors. Lenny Bruce could read the phone book and make it funny. Bill Murray or Belushi could have too. It’s not the show, it’s the NPC placeholders they’ve put on stage.
