While no serious injuries were reported, the video has caused quite a stir online as people debate the moral and legal implications of what occurred. According to The Telegraph, the police were attempting to cut off the speedboat when they cut too far and ran over the smaller vessel. more here
Looks like the speedboat turned under the larger boat.
With police cars that’s called a pit maneuver.
Same outcome, they were chasing suspects who were fleeing. What’s the problem?

That collision was possible only at a fairly high speed. The pace was set by the

Pulled into Sasebo Japan on a Carrier. Watched a Japanese Cutter run over 2 protest boat who got too close to us. They then proceeded to use a fire hose on the other protesters who tried to rescue the sinking boats. That’s how you do it
