1. She says it so well, I just wish they would listen to her. I truly want to smack someone over masking in general but masking children in particular. There will be psychological and physical ramifications for these children.

10. There is zero evidence that mask wearing helps to prevent the spread of COVID-19. None. Whether it be lab tests or data from a year of various approaches, no evidence that wearing a mask reduced in any way.
    Conversely, there is plenty of evidence that wearing a mask can increase the likelihood of getting sick or having breathing issues, potentially long-term. There is also psychological damage.

13. I tell my youngest to rise up and refuse damn near every night. Even coach him how to act like he’s fainting, complete with eyes rolling to the back of the head. I know it’s futile he won’t do it and I don’t expect him to. But that doesn’t stop me from constantly pounding into his head that he’s forced to suffer for a bullshit reason. Maybe one day I’ll get the call to pick him up from school because he refuses to wear the mask, god I hope so, because I’m going to unload. The spring is coiled pretty damn hard.

14. A year in, she is tearfully, albeit articulately, begging the school board to stop abusing her kid. I’m not applauding. What the hell is wrong with this woman that over the period of a year, she hasn’t pulled her child out of this school system, got together with other parents to home school, hasn’t demanded…

    This isn’t praiseworthy, it’s pathetic.

    We put parents in prison for not protecting their children from abusers.

    If some guy living in her house were raping her kid for a year and this was her response, to argue about how it’s not good for the child, to beg… would you be applauding?

    No fucking way would I have permitted my children to be abused like this for one day, let alone a year. I yanked my kids out of elementary school into home school 25 years ago for far less.

15. doctors are in a controlled environment for a finite amount of time and change masks regularly. It’s so they don’t accidentally sneeze or worse into your open wound.

    These masks don’t do sh*t – the box even says as much. I estimate that people touch their mask at least every 10 seconds. I love how people take them out of their pocket or purse or off of their rearview mirror before entering buildings.

23. I’m sorry, she’s the parent and she’s the one sending her child to school everyday knowing they’re going to force a mask on her child.
    You want to make them do something, remove your child, no kids to force masks on and they’ll get it. There are numerous alternatives today to public schools. Home schooling is easier than it ever has been, many communities even have CO-OPs so parents don’t have to do it all on their on. Getting curriculum is inexpensive and there are many homeschool groups that offer you to print off worksheets for free. Still public school, but there are online schools like EPIC.

    It would be a cold day in hell before I forced a mask on my 6 year old child.

26. Bravo to this brave mother. Everyday i try to do something, anything. Stop the madness, an email or phone call voicing my opinion and opposition to masks, crazy rules, or or sheep behavior.
