That argument never made much sense to those educated in economics, yet even the everyday person can surely see how silly it is now that corporations are slashing their prices en masse.

The democrats are a bus with more people being tossed under it than actually riding on it.
Corporations & rich people support democrats and their stupid causes in order not to get thrown under the bus by powerful democrats. The democrats use that money and power coming from corporations & rich people to loot the treasury, and when the resultant inflation comes, they blame inflation on corporations and rich people, when none of them really had much say in this awful money policy with the exception of defense contractors.
The stupid democrats are about to kill their golden goose, and their street base won’t help them because of their support of the IDF.
I agree that this is indeed evidence that government edicts are the core cause of inflation.
However, I do not believe in any way shape or form that these companies perceive inflation’s root cause. They are doing this because they’re losing customers because the competition is taking them away.
They are doing this to help reelect the senile doofus-in-chief.

Tried to explain to an Obama daughter that corporations do not pay taxes. You do. Corporations are forced to collect taxes, then give the taxes to the government so the government can waste them. Almost every tax/price increase can be traced back to a government decision. Thanks to the MSM and the Teacher’s unions, most people believe the lie about greedy corporations.
