Cruz says, rightly, that Dukakis had his poll numbers slip after he donned an ill-fitting army helmet.
Wanting to avoid that fate, he rejects his daughter’s effort to put the Cheesehead on him.
(The title of this video, that Cruz “freaks out,” is ridiculous, and it illustrates beautifully the histrionic effort of some to try and create “events” out of crapola.)
“any hat by definition is a funny hat…”
Zing.
My immediate thought about this story is that Cruz used political calculation to determine whether or not he would put on a cheesehead hat. And, just so you know, the helmet was not a cheesehead hat.
This clearly demonstrates every calculated move Cruz makes is per GOP establishment directives to enhance his election chances and his wife’s progress in forcing the USA into the new world order of the EU West Version… Trump pisses on this kind of tripe….that is why the nation overall prefers Trump, not others of the GOP rubber stamp mold….Rove and the “boys” will never grasp this…its beyond their Ivy League intelligence….
why not? You’re in Wisconsin, and you want their votes. I could understand it if you were a Viking fan. . .
Personally I think Ted Cruz showed sound judgment. He knew that the media could easily make something of it. The proof is in that by not wearing it, people are trying to make something of it. I wish people would grow up, grow a pair, and learn how to make sound political arguments instead of focusing on this crap.
JoeMama,
Sound political arguments? In today’s society? With almost 50% in Obama’s FSA (Free Shit Army)?
Yeah. Right. Tell me, who’s your joke writer?
But I agree, I’m just as glad that Cruz DID NOT put on the Cheesehead hat.
Wishful thinking on my part…. sigh.
Sometimes I’m glad that within 40 years or so I’ll probably be dead.
My head’s too big to wear a hat.
It makes me … well … sad …
*sniff* *sniff*
izlamo delenda est …
That thing on Trump’s head probably wishes someone would offer it a cheesehead hat.
Om, nom, nom, nom…
?
Notice Heidi’s faked forced smile. You can tell the situation between them is not happy. And I think there’s something wrong when it took the man so many days to claim faithfulness to his wife and how come he hasn’t filed libel charges against the enquirer if it’s all lies.
After Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers came out defending muzzies for blowing shit up, I wouldn’t touch that cheese-head bullshit!
JoeMama you are spot-on!
Last week I saw Bernie Sanders (violently) push his (elderly) wife back from the mic and (screamed) said, “don’t say anything.”
OK “violently,” “elderly,” and “screamed.” are my own doing, but he did sort of “freak out.”
I saw nothing in the news about it. I thought the “View” and the FOX gals would at least comment on it.
I could have missed any comment.
