NYP: WASHINGTON — The first U.S. self-driving car fatality took place in May when the driver of a Tesla S sports car using the vehicle’s “autopilot” automated driving system died in a collision with a truck in Florida, federal officials said Thursday.

If you haven’t seen the movie, Darwin Awards yet, it’s worth it just for that “autopilot” bit.

Finally I can interpret properly that logo of yours Tesla.
I see it as “last (or first) nail in your coffin”. 😉
Sorry but anyone who lets the car drive itself deserves a Darwin award.
Let’s not pile on the Tesla yet. For all we know, the driver may have been scheduled to give a deposition on Hillary’s email.
Kind of like a blue screen I guess. Driverless is just one more way to shirk responsibility for your own safety and well being.
