Dear Lord, the crazy is strong with them
He may have refused medical treatment due to being a JW. I drank Mickey’s and Colt as a teen – didn’t make me want to fight. He had hip replacement surgery when he was 50. That crazy cat must’ve used up all of his lives.
So how did he die? Slims? Cirrhosis? Cokeheart?
Clearly, Prince, the mad guitarist has several meanings.
As I recall Prince did the Super Bowl halftime show the year after the Janet Jackson nipplegate incident, or at least soon after. So supposedly we were going to get a cleaner show. And it was the raunchiest I have ever seen. Sure, it was behind a sheet, but he basically beat off on his guitar which then spewed stuff out the end. To be fair I expected that of him, but not of the organizers who had to expect that from him.

Was never into Prince, was more of a 60s/70s music fan in my youth. I acknowledge his fame and prolific work. By the time Prince became popular I was steeped into classical music.
