The damning proof of innocence that FBI likely withheld in Russian probe

The Hill:

If President Trump declassifies evidence in the Russia investigation, Carter Page’s summer bike ride to a Virginia farm and George Papadopoulos’s hasty academic jaunt to London may emerge as linchpin proof of FBI surveillance abuses during the 2016 election.

The two trips have received scant attention. But growing evidence suggests both Trump campaign advisers made exculpatory statements — at the very start of the FBI’s investigation — that undercut the Trump-Russia collusion theory peddled to agents by Democratic sources.

The FBI plowed ahead anyway with an unprecedented intrusion into a presidential campaign, while keeping evidence of the two men’s innocence from the courts.

  1. I have absolutely ZERO confidence left in the FBI as an institution. That does not translate into universal contempt for rank and file FBI officers and staff, but it does suggest that drastic measures are needed.

    > The million dollar question is why hasn’t the President done this already?

don’t ever take sides with anyone against the family

Because management is looking to hire disloyal soldiers? That will turn on them at every opportunity?

    > As the courts sit silent after being lied to and used.

Like the John, whose told “You’re the best I’ve ever had! I really wish I didn’t have to charge you.”?

That kind of “lied to”? That kind of “used”?

  5. “ Republican lawmakers have suggested for months that such evidence existed and was hidden from the courts, but none has emerged in public.”

Therein lies the problem; gutless, useless republicans who are too scared to do what needs to be done.

  6. I believe President Trump will take care of business. I think AA is right when she says he has to wait and let Mueller’s shenanigans play out so that they can’t say he jumped in and interfered with their “investigation.” When Mueller & Co. come up empty handed and there’s no where else for them to go, I think Trump will go full steam ahead. If you’ll notice, these stories involving the democrat operatives’ involvement in shady dealings, have been trickling out steadily lately.

Also, wondering if this college bribery scandal that the msm is now covering 24/7 is an effort to try and move past the Mueller investigation which was their previous hobby horse, to try and get the general public to move on from Mueller by giving them something else huge to be outraged about.

  7. My guess as to why Trump hasn’t declassified yet is I think he’s holding his “trump” card for the mother of all October surprises next year. Probably won’t wait THAT long, but any time next year will be enough to insure his re-election. Hopefully.

Plus, he knows that they know that he knows…and that’s gonna create some unforced errors on their part. Again, hopefully…

  8. To those asking WHY, may I offer a possible logical answer?
Trump plays his ACE cards close to the breast using what he needs when he needs it.

Right now America sees that the Liberals, Socialists, Anti-America Democrats have poured a bucket of lying crap all over themselves going in to the 2020 campaign season.

America knows they lied and Illegally used political agents within the DOJ, and FBI and etc. for self serving and political reasons.

They have violated their oath of office, the US Constitution and the America Justice system to the core.

They have in fact violated the civil rights of every America citizen whether you are Pro or Anti-Trump.

All for Political Power, greed and with the possible Socialist End Game plan started by previous Administrations.
