In March 1988, I witnessed one of the saddest spectacles of my life. I saw four police officers pry open door 303 at the infamous Lorain Motel in Memphis TN and forcibly evict a poor, single, Black woman named Jacqueline Smith from the only home she had known for eleven years. It was televised. It was a spectacle.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered at the Lorrain Motel on April 4, 1963. The motel had been purchased at auction and was to be repurposed into a civil rights museum. Ms. Smith had challenged her eviction, believing that Martin Luther King, a man who had championed the plight of the poor, would have sided with her and not the money-grubbing capitalist there to profit from his murder. She swore to never voluntarily leave her room. She had been offered better employment and better housing. She refused. She swore she would resist every step of the way. She kept her word. Smith did not make it easy. As four female police officers picked her up by each of her limbs carrying her down the stairs and off the property, she kicked, screamed, flailed about making their job as difficult as possible.
After moving Ms. Smith and all of her possessions to the curb and threatening her with imprisonment, if she ever stepped foot on the property, again, Jacquelin Smith made a vow. more
When I’ve been forced to fly, I can fly out of Memphis or Little Rock(yeah I know)I’m equidistant . Fares are even a bit cheaper in Memphis but NFW I want to be in that AO. For shit exactly like this.
Blacks have it their heads, thanx in no small part to REgressives needing the chaos they bring, that they’re enfuckingtitled. “they build this country” What horse shit. And it never ends, in fact it’s been turned up to 12.
And there’s not a better example around here than Memphis.
I had to read that article twice and then go to the NYT article.
I’ve seen and read about people doing some stupid shit but this is amazingly stupid. I have to ask if that woman has clinical low-intellect, because, wow!
The takeaway is, do you make being pissed off about stuff your life or do you walk away to a different life? Ask that question to the person in the mirror. That might make fewer readers of this blog. Don’t forget to prep.

Hands down the best, most accurate and concise description that I have read regarding what ails the black culture. This one gets forwarded to friends and family.
And as an added bonus, the author is black. Call him Uncle Tom at your own peril blacks.
