You do a great job of recreating the photo without recreating it.
This is fantastic. Is there a backstory?
Great job
Dog was breed to retrieve ducks & geese.
Without crushing the bird.
Hahaha!
That’s great! Is that a chocolate Lab, or something bigger?
Awesome. It’s hard to be humble when your BFH
Exile On Main St.
Max has quite a talent to hold 3 tennis balls at once and you captured him perfectly BFH!
There is a Happy Bowser!
I knew a yellow lab who could not greet you at the door without something in his mouth (usually several somethings). He loved to bark, so you would hear “Mumff, mumff, mumff!”
Great job, Fur.
Another great one, BFH.
Not to be pushy, but I’d love to see Delmar painted before this year ends.
Love it.
BFH owns pet portraits.
No one better.
NOOOOooooo BE PUSHY.
In Fact, constant reminders is what’s needed.
It is very easy for me to get derailed, and painting time is scarcer now that my arm is in pretty much constant pain (and still my Healthcare Provider says I am not a candidate for surgery.) But life must go on. And I enjoy doing these immensely.
Please, anyone in the queue, please resend all photos with a stern and bitter admonition.
is anyone else seeing the cartoon of the redneck instead of the dog painting?
Max must have been pure joy! What a fun looking dog! 😀
Great portrait as usual.
Oh, BFH, thank you so much for painting Max. I hope I can respond to those who commented: @MJA he was a joy. @Jethro Stop it. @All Too Much Totally agree. @Claudia Same here with a Chocolate. @Poor Lazlo He was. @This Texan Has Had Enough It was a pic of a lifetime. He lived for the ball. @Cate Dark Chocolate @riverlife_callie Just wanted BFH to paint our beloved Max and BFH really enjoyed doing this one.
What an adorable ham! And another wonderful painting!
So, I take the portrait to show my 92-1/2 year old Mother. She is overjoyed – that’s Maxie! My Brother: WOW! So much better than viewing on the computer. Big Fur you did real good. We thank you so much.
Your portrait Max captured his personality perfectly
He Was truly a goof ball
You should have seen him smile on cue for my sister
Cute!
