This is a follow-up to my post about ending the teaching that only whites can be racist.
Reddit user, DXGypsy, opened a thread about the left’s use of redefining words, or creating new ones, to propel their agenda. Their first example was “racism.”
Racism – changing from “hatred of another race” (which anybody can do) to “a race in a position of power over another” (which apparently only white people can do)
Also-fascism – changed from a dictatorial oppressive government into a dictatorial oppressive right wing government.
Illegal immigrant – has become a whole myriad of word salad to avoid calling them what they are.
Undocumented immigrants. Dreamers. And now introducing Asylum Seekers. Anything in the world except the accurate “illegal”.
What are some you’ve seen them pull?
The thread is interesting. I’ve pulled some comments from the post and editing some for brevity.

Compassion -> Government taking money and redistributing it. Individuals are compassionate, not government programs. The end result for such “compassionate” programs rarely leave anyone better off.
“Social Justice” -> Opposite meaning of justice. Instead of justice being blind they want equitable outcomes based on randomly defined groupings they have decided are important. Obama literally stated social justice was a primary function of the SCOTUS.
“State” Capitalism -> Oxymoron. Capitalism is defined by excluding the state ownership of production.

Gender and sex are interchangeable and used the same way, but they insist they’re different…
…they use gender to mean dress and mannerisms related to the appearance of being a certain sex, and insist that they be treated as if they are the sex even though they insist sex and gender are completely different.
Amazing, right? Gender and sex are not the same (it can’t be in their world because men would be men no matter how they dressed and acted.) But if they dress and act like the other sex it somehow proves that they are a different sex (???) The logic is sound if you’re a progressive.

I always thought of racism as the thinking that one race was superior to others. Prejudging is certainly a part of racism. Of course suggesting that a group is incapable of racism is literally racist in itself.
Also, -phobe means ‘fearing’, not ‘hating’. An Islamophobe fears Muslims. I don’t fear Muslims, well, unless they are jihadists trying to attack me in which case I want to defend myself and those I care about.
And anything ‘right-wing’ should mean ‘limited government’, which fascism clearly is not.
Racist: the term used by liberals in order to end an argument or debate when such liberal has no counterpoint or rebuttal. Eg. “Aren’t illegal immigrants violating federal law?” “Racist.”

Of course, it would be real easy to just apply “man” words to women too, as was done with the dropping of femininettes such as actress, seamstress, testatrix etc. and say, e.g. “Congressman Pelosi”…
But that leaves “male privilege”, and everything now has to be a confusing “it” (but not really an “it” because that would be some kind of “thing”, insulting, nevermind “transgender”…
