Hate to be a broken record, folks, but we are under attack and it’s not going to stop until these monopolies are broken up.
Just yesterday I read a story by John Hawkins, How Conservatives Are Being Destroyed by Facebook, Twitter and Google Without Even Realizing It, where he announced that he’d been forced to shut down his Right Wing News website and explained that in today’s social media environment, a conservative’s chances to get a political website off the ground are infinitesimal.
And this morning, all of a sudden, I received several emails and FB notifications that Facebook wasn’t allowing users to post or share the People’s Cube links.
Different people, posting different links throughout the day, received this standard response: “We removed this post because it looks like spam and doesn’t follow our Community Standards.” The user has an option to contest this assumption; then the post is reviewed and usually permitted. Not everyone has the time or patience for this, although some of our readers have obliged and sent me the screenshots.
At some point in the past Facebook had also started to limit the number of shares on our posts, explaining it by a new proportional algorithm. As a result, our traffic had dropped significantly. And now this.
We are being filtered out of existence.
One could say, “forget FacebookGoogleTwitter, we shouldn’t have to rely on them anyway!” In an ideal world, absolutely. But in this world, it’s like saying “we don’t need Amtrak to take a train to another city” because Amtrak has replaced all other intercity train operators.

So what can one individual do to cause change. I’m not saying that to be a smart ass, if anyone has a good idea I’m ready, willing, and looking forward to helping to fix things.
Actually, I posted a Cube link on Monday and it’s still there (on FB). I will keep posting and if they delete it I’ll post the sucker again. And again. And again.
I don’t mean to sound ignorant, but does just visiting this sight help them out? Also, I know a couple places moving to the dark web. Gotta link, scared to pull the trigger. Anybody know the deal with the dark web? Please inform us.FUR?
If some smart coder comes up with a way to apply all the features of Fecebook that can be used on normal web pages (HTTP, HTTPS, etc.) then FB could be bypassed altogether.
Just a thought..
Visiting helps the People’s Cube, yes, but only if you have Ad Blockers OFF.
HINT.
The “peoples” cube can go Fk itself.
They banned me for posting a pic of the former first tranny with her junk sticking out and calling her an ugly gorilla while other comments were MUCH worse.
Payback time entitled bitches!
Oh, and facefuck the spy-tool can go fuck itself too!
Never used it and NEVER will because I got my fill of “social media” when MSN Chat was the only social media platform to use and I got to see how most people used it to complain and start fights with 130 characters or less.
Bad Brad, go look up Tor browser😉.
Anti-competitive in the market and in the market of political thought.
The right must build their OWN platforms…or continue to be shutout. Use Infogalactic instead of Wikipedia; Use gab.ai instead of Twitter; use Freestartr instead of the other crowd funders.
Burger King will be along shortly with their Whoppers to explain why we are just paranoid and irrational..
What needs to happen is these companies need to be broken up under the same principle as was done in the Bell case.

We need some mega rich person to sue Facebook/Google/Burger King, to break up these monopolies under the First Amendment. This is how we communicate in the modern day.

I tried replying curtly. Maybe it’s stuck in a SPAM can somewhere?

Alrighty, try https://tails.boum.org/
(Be sure you switch off scripting in the Tor browser. There’s a button for that.
Of course, going there from The Internet™ will get you on a list. Downloading will get you on another. I would say just ask a friend of a friend for a copy. But, well, you asked here.)
(That’s all for now. I don’t want Boobie The Rocket Dog working me over like a stuffed squirrel.)
Face Book has Community Standards? Who knew. We have an account but we never post on it and only use it to view things from family and friends.
I just may copy and paste Oleg’s post and see what happens. No skin off my nose if FB zaps it.
(Dead Che Tee shirts available at The People’s Cube. Get one and have fun explaining to the brain dead why he was a murdering racist thug from a $h!t-Hole country)
I “Liked” the page, and am friends with “Red Square”. Haven’t seen a peep out of them since December. They, and other sites, don’t show in my timeline no matter how many adjustments I make in my settings.
Weren’t a whole bunch of bakers bankrupted for not helping some gays get married against their religious beliefs?
This sounds awfully similar if an Attorney General wanted to start antitrust peoceedings againt the Democrat money printing machine.
Yet how many times have people posted here that FB, Google etc are private companies and can do whatever they want? Either they need regulation or this is what you get.
