The Suspicious Death of Dorothy Kilgallen Revisted AGAIN

Kilgallen’s death has been scrutinized over and over through the years, with her death ostensibly connected to her investigation of the JFK assassination.

The NY Post rehashes it here because of a the new book  “The Reporter Who Knew Too Much” (Post Hill Press/Simon & Schuster), which comes out Tuesday.

  1. a lot of ‘if’, ‘and’, ‘could be’, ‘might have’, ‘could have’s’ … but interesting

remember Kilgallen on What’s My Line’ (as a wee small child; of course 😉 ) she got so many correct answers that I thought she was cheating … later, I realized she was a very smart, perceptive person

  2. Anon,
“What’s My Line” was a wonderful intelligent show back-in-the-day.
There was the host, a panel of three (or was it four?) judges, and the mystery guest.
The guest was someone who had done something notable, but whose face was not generally publically known.
The judges asked a series of yes-no questions, and at the end, tried to guess the identity of the guest.
A wonderful, intelligent show, that couldn’t be duplicated today, because there are not the same style of wonderful, intelligent people in Hollyweird today.

  3. Jimmie Carter was a mystery guest on What’s My Line. He was governor at the time and if I remember correctly (I was so much younger then), no one guessed him.

Anyway, I heard some chatter about Kilgallen knowing (and her mysterious death). I am VERY interested in how this story evolves.

  4. See if the book mentions the confidant to whom she gave a copy of the file and who then feared for his life, never revealing the contents. It’s still out there. Somewhere. 👿
