The United States Postal Service (USPS) is running a “covert operations program” monitoring Americans’ social media accounts for “inflammatory” posts.
The program is carried out by the USPS enforcement arm, the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), and is called the Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP). Analysts with the program monitor the social media posts of people attending rallies and protests, according to Yahoo News.
“Analysts with the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) Internet Covert Operations Program (iCOP) monitored significant activity regarding planned protests occurring internationally and domestically on March 20, 2021,” a March 16 memo distributed by the Department of Homeland Security says. “Locations and times have been identified for these protests, which are being distributed online across multiple social media platforms, to include right-wing leaning Parler and Telegram accounts.”

The USPS keeps delivering Republican political flyers to my mailbox. And Imprimis and stuff from Heritage Foundation. Stuff like that.
I have no presence on social media.
But I am sure that they already know my political leanings.
Should I be concerned?
They’re setting up fake protest dates to catch people responding.
But they’re not looking for antifa, jihadis, and blm though.
Even “Going Postal” has a new meaning.
This is so far out of their purview as to boggle the mind. Any penny spent by the organization on this crap should be deducted from what they receive from the Federal government.
Don’t use Social Media. Send a letter. By the time USPS finds it and reads it, the ‘protest’ will be over.

The online spying is probably looked down on by carriers.

I was just listening to an interview with Congressman Mo Brooks (hopefully will be our next Senator when Richard Shelby retires). He said they were briefed yesterday by the FBI who have now declared that the incident at the baseball practice (where Steve Scalise was shot) was a “Suicide By Cop!” They totally ignored that the guy asked where the Republicans were practicing, that he had a list in his pocket and a description of 6 Republican Congress members, and that he was a follower of Bernie Sanders. So, he was NOT a domestic terrorist, at least according to the FBI. They really are the enemy, aren’t they?
I, too, am worried about the mail we receive. It is really easy for the USPS to figure out we are conservatives here.
When I make donations to conservatives I ask them to email me back to let me know they got it. So far nobody has responded. Discover won’t let me donate to some people .

Renton to Omak is 238 miles, I usually figure on about four hours total drive time… more or less
I was wondering where the package that should have been in Omak on Saturday, or at the latest by Monday was and as of this morning it is in Wenatchee which is on the way to Omak. Here is where it gets interesting: Wenatchee is not on the way to Omak if you are coming from Spokane. But then again neither is Yakima on the way to Omak from Renton and it would be a hard case to make that Spokane is on the way to Omak from either Renton or Yakima.
As of this morning the package has traveled at least 610.83 total miles, has made it 60% of the way to Omak from Renton and is still 95.6 miles from Omak.
God only knows how many other places it has visited in it’s travels, these are just the ones I can confirm
