The Word of the Year Is…

 

Every year, The American Dialectic Society (ADS) examines the words and phrases that were on everybody’s lips in the last year and selects one that really caught the public’s imagination.  2016, being an election year of enormous (dare I say, big league) consequences, there were a lot of nominees put forward from the process of selecting our next president.

The ADS solicits words and phrases every December, when they open the process for 2017.

I’m going to put “MAGA” out there for consideration.
