December 25 (Christmas Day) is the least common birthday, while January 1 (New Year’s Day) is the second least common. December 24 (Christmas Eve) also makes the list as the 3rd least common birthday while July 4 (Independence Day) is the 4th least common birthday.

  6. Had to think about this one. Take C-sections put pf the equations. Doc’s won’t schedule on a holiday.The US rate has been rising but I am not sure of the percentage and too lazy to look.

  8. My parents got married in late August 1955 and my sister was born in early September 1955…..I don’t know why they didn’t schedule the birth for a for a major holiday….

    So that was that!
    True story. I think doc was also a chain-smoker…

  30. My oldest brother was born on January 1, 1950 — nice round number. It was handy because if I knew what year a picture was taken I knew his age and the other way around.

    Someone my son’s age was born on December 25. His family celebrated on June 25.
