    “Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was sentenced to 18 months in prison in a Santa Fe, New Mexico, court Monday for the killing of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter last month.

  10. This is all over the IG trainer sights this morning so I guess it’s pretty recent. Common consensus seems to be our chubby little hero just wasn’t committed to shooting the SOB that eventually killed him. I don’t care if it was a 22 long rifle, you use what you have, but damn, engage the guy. I think the take away here is don’t pull it unless you’re committed to using it. To bad. A hard lesson to learn.

  12. Seems pretty stupid to take the position you’re trying to take the life of another, then nonchalantly, and perfectly, stroll in front of the path of the person you just tried to kill, allowing him maximum advantage.

    Darwinism?

    Even I would find solid cover with his retreat. The job was not done.
    I wonder what was going through his mind before everything else did.

  15. The Good Samaritan/hero should have considered these strategies:
    Be aware of the territory, identify possible support, never turn your back on a perp, and be prepared to continue the encounter until the perp is incapacitated, neutralized or apprehended by police.

  17. Strap that shit bag to the front of the truck he used to kill that poor guy and rig the accelerator to full throttle and run that truck into a cement wall. Should be a two week trial with death penalty. Enough of the years long bullshit that only enriches the human tick lawyers. We have got to restore real justice in this country.

    I’ve heard and read different stories of what caliber he had, .22, 38 and 9mm, regardless at that range that guy should not have been breathing.

    That Michigan Judge was ignorant and biased.
    Another biased judge is in Arizona presiding over the old man’s trial that he supposedly killed an illegal on his property. He didn’t like the defense proving on cross that LE were corrupt, ran an illegal investigation by going to Mexico and refused to look at anyone else. So he told them with the one cop they could only have 5 minutes for cross because the trial was taking too long(his excuse) when the defense attorney argued that not allowing the defense to provide a defense he was violating their client’s constitutional rights he yelled they now only had 4 minutes. He then cut her off while questioning him and dismissed the jury. She told him she was going to offer a proffer and he said the court reporter would remain and just got up and walked off the bench, refusing to even listen.

    Our justice system is no longer blind with all of these idiot judges.

  27. Never pull your gun unless you are committed to eliminating the threat. Brad, I agree the screeching lady did nothing to help but make everyone’s ears bleed while the men are making life or death decisions. Oh, but keep filming as you scream.
    America has been dumbed down to an amazing level.
