These are the peoples who populate the upper echelons of the state department and sadly, the leadership of the spy agencies. You can’t trust them past the length of their noses nor the falsity of their patented accents.
One of the reasons Hans was a H.S. drop out was a scholarship he was given to a prep school in 10th grade. As a foster kid with no money was treated as persona non gratia (until he had fought his way through the football locker room and they threw him out). I don’t remember even one of those preppies being nice!
I still shudder at the phony atmosphere (but I remember the food being good). First time I slept in a room with only one other person (a person of color on a scholarship as well).
