Former President Donald Trump came to west-central Illinois Saturday to deliver his “complete and total endorsement” for state Sen. Darren Bailey, giving the ultraconservative downstate lawmaker gold-plated momentum heading into Tuesday’s six-way gubernatorial primary. Here
Bailey is up against the mayor of Aurora, Richard Irvin who has been backed by $50 million and the establishment who is currently polling in 3rd place in a 4-way primary. Here
The problem in IL is Cook County. Now that Madigan is gone…maybe and that’s a big fookin’ maybe, there’ll be enough fed up voters to overwhelm the build in fraud.
IL is one of those states bleeding out population though and ya gotta think it’s probably more sane ones leaving than REgressives.
Oh boy, goody goody, gumdrops. This will go nowhere. Illinois is mainly democratic. Pritzker will win again in a landslide. This whats his name us a focking joke. Trump can suck it!
I live in Illinois and voted at 6:00am this morning for Darren Bailey. He’s almost a local here, having lived about two hours north of us. He has almost zero chance of winning the governor’s race in November. One year, the GOP candidate won 100 of the 102 counties and still lost because Cook County and Rockford County went for the dem. We have no chance in this socialist state.
The funniest thing has been the ads against Bailey. They say, “Darrin Bailey is pro-life. He supports the NRA. He supports Trump. He is too conservative for Illinois”
Darren Bailey is a long shot to win the Governorship BUT at least Irvin who has endorsed BLM and Obama in the past won’t be the Republican nominee.
That being said, Prickster will be re-elected.
Illinois is too far gone…
Illinois does just fine with some interloper/snake oil salesman coming here & trying to sell his ill-gotten wares.
It’s so hot in Illinois, Pritzker is making his own gravy.
