Trump: ‘I Am Calling on Congress to Block Funds’ for Sanctuary Jurisdictions

(CNSNews.com) – Attorney General Jeff Sessions is suing the state of California for its “sanctuary” immigration laws, and over the weekend, President Donald Trump urged Congress “to block funds for jurisdictions that shield dangerous criminals.”

“Protecting the safety and well-being of American citizens is my highest duty as president,” Trump said in his Saturday radio address. “Yet, lawless sanctuary jurisdictions are nullifying federal law, obstructing immigration enforcement, and releasing thousands of criminal aliens into U.S. communities to prey on innocent victims. It’s absolutely terrible.”  more here

  1. Paul Ryan is going to start crying. Luckily Mitch will be there to hug him close and dry his tears, then take him for an ice cream cone.

  2. Trump is going to force the MSM to give coverage of all the decent Californians (and they exist) who OPPOSE SANCTUARY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS.

Most people outside of Ca think Californian’s are 100% anti-gun and pro illegal sanctuary / welfare state.

Trump is winning the war of the narrative while simultaneously awakening the world to the bullshit being fed to them by 99% of the media outlets.

Prayer works. What we are witnessing is evidence of that.

  3. These states, especially California, is breaking Federal Law. All Federal funds need to be stopped immediately. Of course, the Commie democrats will fight this tooth and nail. Just keep that in mind in November when you vote. When democrats care more about illegals than Americans, they need to be removed. SCUM.

  4. They are violating federal law and forcing their underlings to violate federal law. Arrest them, put them in federal prison.

  5. Virtually every federal grant comes with “strings” attached. (One that I was involved with during the Obummer administration required us to do LGBT sensitivity training, and of course the feds had a curriculum already made up for it.) Just make one of those strings a requirement that the receiving jurisdiction cannot be a sanctuary city/county/state.

“They” aren’t forcing anyone. They are offering to pay people to commit federal crimes. Or what would be federal crimes if the peasants did the same. And a “stay out of jail free” card, with a union guaranteed, higher than median income check, that is guaranteed to clear, is enough t o have patriots line up for the opportunity.

  7. Dear Kalifornication, et al,
Nullify FedGov laws, nullify FedGov monies. All of it. You don’t get to selectively pick and choose.
