Two Dogs, A Cat, And A Werewolf

The American Kennel Club proudly announced the addition of two new breeds this week, the Nederlandse Kooikerhondje (Netherlands Coyker Hound) and the Grand Basset Griffon Vendéen or GBGV for short.

Not to be out done, the International Cat Association added two new breeds to their list of recognized lines, the Long Haired Bengal and the Lycoi or “Werewolf” cat.  Watch

  1. Every cat or dog I’ve ever owned from Childhood to my current dotage was someone else’s castoff. No pedigrees but tons of unconditional love. Currently have three cats — one a butt sniffer who came from an animal hoarder who had lots of dogs, one a feral with stubby legs and crooked teeth, and a sleek but shy fella who was given up because the owners girlfriend was allergic (I think the gf should have been the one to go).

  2. Most of our cats were typical American shorthair blue collar types. Went purebred once, Japanese Bobtail. Loved that cat, had a great personality and was just beautiful. Miss Ya Patti.
