Diplomats from a number of countries jostled to be among the first to sign their nation to the Paris Climate Change Agreement at the UN today, because it’s Earth Day.
John Kerry was there for his photo op, pen in hand and granddaughter on his lap.
The Obama Administration is intent on passing this agreement and leave it for the next President to deal with, since the provisions won’t go into effect until 2020, if enough nations sign on.
Monica Crowley’s column this week accuses the Obama Administration of an entirely different motivation for pushing this on the nation and it has nothing to do with saving the world from “climate change.”
