United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres is sounding the alarm to members about the world body’s “troubling financial situation,” urging them to pay up.
“Our cash flow has never been this low so early in the calendar year, and the broader trend is also concerning; we are running out of cash sooner and staying in the red longer,” he said in a letter to staff, reports FoxNews.com. more here

The concept of a world order is unachievable in todays world. Smaller shithole countries just see an opportunity to milk funds from the more fortunate. The existing den of thieves is costly to the US taxpayer and to the city of New York. We do not need this cabal of spies and parking meter scofflaws in our territory. If the UN is to exist at all place it on an island in the middle of nowhere.
So much money has been wasted on the idealistic concept of a governing body for the planet but the reality is that we simply are not ready to co-exist and I sincerely doubt that we ever will be.
It would be very interesting to find out which countries are paying their dues or commitments. The amounts must be staggering and probably have gone unpaid for years. I know that countries can lose voting rights if they have unpaid dues but do not know what the grace period is. I seriously doubt that countries in crisis such as Venezuela or some African nations are current.
