Venezuela: Camera Catches Maduro-Loyalists Plowing into Protesters Using Armored Military Vehicle

Breitbart: News outlets broadcasting live from Caracas on Tuesday recorded graphic footage of an armored vehicle in control of forces loyal to socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro running over peaceful protesters called together by President Juan Guaidó to support soldiers who no longer answer to Maduro.

Guaidó posted a video early Tuesday morning from the La Carlota military base near Caracas announcing that the leadership of the nation’s armed forces no longer supported Maduro, but they would need civilians to travel to their nearest military headquarters and support them as they ousted the few Maduro loyalists left.

In response, the streets of Caracas – and the gates of La Carlota – flooded with Venezuelans waving their flags and soldiers sporting a blue band on their arms, their rejection of the socialist dictatorship’s red authority.

In the Altamira neighborhood of Caracas, civilians organized to support Guaidó. Before he arrived to deliver a speech to the crowd, however, Maduro loyalists in the military and colectivos – armed socialist thug gangs – arrived to attack the protesters. Soldiers shot tear gas and rubber bullets into a crowd. In the incident caught on video, they drove their armored vehicles over the protesters.

According to the Venezuelan newspaper El Nacional, at least one protester was significantly injured in the incident and currently receiving medical attention. The extent of the injury remains unknown at press time. more

  1. Take notice folks. This is what it looks like when government seizes the citizen’s firearms. Only government puppets will be armed.
If only the Venezuelan people had a Joe Biden to swoop down with his double barrel shotgun blazing away.

  2. Well, now. Isn’t this the point where we need to get in the faces of the left who think that we don’t need military-grade weapons?

THIS is when citizens need heavy fire power – to protect ourselves from armored military vehicles like this!

  3. Remember that the US military is armed and ready to fire on and kill American protesters who aggressively protest against the US government. Trying to overthrow a government is not a peaceful protest, especially when the agents of the US are behind it. The people want to keep Maduro. They do not want Guaido. US media propaganda along with lying Trump administration war mongers want Guaido puppet in power to control AGAIN the OIL!
Our own US Military is NOT for Americans’ and would gladly shoot us down if ORDERED to do so, as is stated here:
“THIS is when citizens need heavy fire power – to protect ourselves from armored military vehicles like this!”

  4. 1932. The President ordered the US Military commanders to attack protesters in D.C. to clear them out of the city. American war vets were routed by currently serving, ARMED American military as ordered.

“The Bonus Army was the name applied a group over 17,000 U.S. World War I veterans who marched on Washington, D.C. during the summer of 1932 demanding immediate cash payment of the service bonuses promised to them by Congress eight years earlier.”

On the morning of July 28, 1932, President Hoover, in his capacity as Commander in Chief of the military, ordered his Secretary of War Patrick J. Hurley to clear the Bonus Army camps and disperse the protesters. At 4:45 p.m., U.S. Army infantry and cavalry regiments under the command of General Douglas MacArthur, supported by six M1917 light tanks commanded by Maj. George S. Patton, assembled on Pennsylvania Avenue to carry out President Hoover’s orders. https://www.thoughtco.com/bonus-army-march-4147568
