  1. My Dad might have thought of this Betty Hutton film when he got together with my Mom and started our family in the back seat of a 37 Ford….am I an indian?…..

  2. Bravo! – Check scene credits at the end. It took 12 more years for Jim, James, Jamie, Jimmy, Jims, Jim Jim, Jacob, San Iago, San Tiago, Santyago, Sant-Yago, San Thiago all with their last name listed as ‘CROW’ to get their recognition thanks to Democrats. That was awesome. Back than Fluffers were never listed in the credits.

  3. rode my cousin’s Indian motorcycle once; he eventually wrecked it
rode my girlfriend in a chicken coop once; feathers, feathers everywhere
rode my Pontiac Chieftain … w/ Fire Chief gas in the tank
rode my boat on the Patuxent River & the Chesapeake Bay … named after the Patuxent & Chesapeake Indians
rode in a Black Hawk helicopter; yelled ‘Geronimo’ when I jumped out

kinda makes me 1/1,024th of a Native American (‘specially since I was born here) … don’ it?

I’m called Chief Full Of Baloney

  4. @ Molon – I here ya I have lived in Siwanoy country for my entire life, I guess that makes me one of them? Nooo, not really…

Hillary is ‘from’ Chappaqua, she is next to claim an old forgotten made up heritage.

  5. Seriously, I haven’t seen that scene again in over 40 yrs. Still funny. I thought Betty Hutton rivaled Lucille Ball. They both are great comediennes. BTW, Hutton seemed to be liberal and had a rough life.

  6. Many indian names were given as a result of some action by those so named.
Therefore, “Fucks a Mare”(From “The Son”) is hilarious.
I think we can do at least as well with Loose Papoose.

  7. Anyway, look at the production and staging for Judy Garland! Plus, pretty obvious that song was written specifically for her vocal range. Amazing.

Yeah…. I still like Betty Hutton. Her version is comically broader. Just….. damn that was a killer Garland number.
