Walker wows social conservatives

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker applauds during his State of the State address to a joint session of the Legislature in the Assembly chambers at the state Capitol Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, in Madison, Wis. Walker made the case in his State of the State speech Wednesday that extra money collected thanks to an improving national economy should be returned as property and income tax cuts, even as some Republicans are saying his proposal goes too far. With attacks on Obama, puts GOP rivals on notice.

WaTimes– Just weeks away from possibly joining the 2016 race, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker thrilled a crowd of social conservatives Saturday night with a withering attack on President Obama’s record while putting his potential GOP rivals on notice that he plans to run on his record as a get-it-done governor.

Mr. Walker sought to convince the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s 2015 Road to the Majority Conference he may be the best choice for president, repeatedly citing his record of success in Wisconsin that includes a balanced budget, concessions from unions and pro-faith policies.

  1. I hope he runs; he’d be on my top shelf.
Gonna be a real roller coaster ride.

The ONE THING I remember from a Trevor Loudon presentation (his Ted Cruz Team tour) which resonates the most is:
the Right MUST coalesce around ONE CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE sooner than later to crush the RINOs in the pack.

  2. I’m gonna start naggin’ again…just remember, when the primary is over, get out and support whoeverthehellitis!!! I can tell you already that it isn’t going to be a perfect candidate; might not even be a very good candidate. But don’t let’s have another communist because we fought among ourselves!

Yes, I’m saying hold your nose and vote for McShitstain again. Only let’s hope it ain’t that bad this time.

  3. Both the Great One, Mark Levin, and the Michelle Malkin say we got one last chance to nominate THE MOST CONSERVATIVE candidate possible.

Or it’s as over as Holly Sonders dreams of privacy

Gotta take a serious whack at it… the CONSERVATISM, I mean.

  4. I preface my snark with the statement that I love Scott Walker & would not hesitate to vote for the man. I think, along with Ted Cruz, he may be just the person to save our country…..but the lo-fo’s are not going to vote for a man with such a haircut…. & before you go all ‘but his appearance shouldn’t matter’ ranting on me…..sadly, I say, in this day & age….it does….we are a vain, supercilious media-driven society. More interested in Bruce Bender-Gender than ISIS.
Walker merely needs to get a stylist that can do something with his hair….a few tweeks, a bit of a trim….it shouldn’t be difficult
Make it a priority Mr. Walker & you could become, hopefully, the next President

  5. Sure, all Walker needs is a makeover so he looks like Virgins’ Richard Branson and America will be swept off its feet.

It’s nauseating how true that stupid statement is.

  6. Walker’s hair may not be Presidential, but I can say, he is very articulate communicating his conservative causes, and most of all, he is proof that a conservative can make positive changes, even in a state like Wisconsin who typically vote democratic. The majority of voters here are socially more libertarian, but fiscally very conservative.
Sure hope America wakes up in time.
