These nominee hearings are such a colossal waste of time. The dems have all the power now so they can nominate any damn fool they want.
If this was a courtroom Hawley could ask the judge to instruct the witness to answer the question, but here they can tap dance, evade, ignore, and smirk, no consequences because they are Team Biden and they have the votes.

What is it with everyone answering questions with “I want to thank you for having me here and asking me that question?” It seemed like they say that to every question asked. Are they hoping that the asker will wet his pants because he was deemed worthy by such a superior human being to even acknowledge the question, even though the nominee then goes speaks a lot of double talk and doesn’t answering the question?
This toad is your typical slippery democrat but still doesn’t hold a candle to the transvestite joe installed to the laughter of the entire world.
The entire reasoning for nominating these outcasts is to poke us with a stick.
A. It’s a time filler.
B. It’s an effort to distract in that the more time that passes, the more likely you’ll forget the point of your question.
C. A common weakness is that when people are complimented, they go easier on you. That’s a fact. VANITY. Check out videos of arrests and you’ll find a number of them contain the suspect complimenting the arresting officer or, at least, trying something that gets them in a better mood.
