  1. I am also impressed that when the crowd started the National Anthem, the teams both stood and properly respected the flag and anthem. Just goes to show that these decisions are not being made by any of the participants but by social planners who sit at the top of the overall scheme of things.

  2. Someone PLEASE list the A-Hole coaches name for the team on the LEFT SIDE and who made the decision NOT to play the National Anthem?

I want to know if the coach held his team back from returning to the field or if the team or league made the decision.

Also could someone list the PRO-American Coaches name.
I want send him and his honorable team some $$ towards an after game pizza party.

Apparently Twitter didn’t like hearing the Star Spangled Banner and punished the messenger. IMHO I think it’s pathetic that the spectators had to take care of it instead of the team. I would have walked out and not supported either team, that sends a bigger message – just ask the NBA and the NFL.

…it’s not the LAST thing Democrats have wrecked that we “spectators” will have to put right, but that’s what the Second Amendment is for, and there’s a LOT of “right” we need to be putting…

  5. Richard P and NN2N1, I thought that, too. Then I realized that the team that didn’t line up was not in the dugout, they were already on the field. They stood, along with the few left in the dugout, to honor the flag, our country and the audience.

    *sniff* God bless America.

  6. Loved it!!
I watched it twice and it looks like BOTH teams were respectful. At 1:07 you can see a group from the left side right in front of their bench and of course their fielders were in the field clustered in groups (outfield, infield).
And what Glenda T Goode said.

  7. That’s a mini rebellion right there – the right kind of rebellion – average citizens expressing love for the greatest county on earth. Damn the “authorities”.

This is girl’s softball – the NFL and NBA should learn from them.

    Way to go, girls!!!

  8. What did you expect? MLB (Major or Minor League Baseball) is BLM (Black Lives Matter) backward…..Seriously, what did you think was going to happen? You really didn’t think they’d actually stand for or sing the National Anthem?. Goes to prove acronyms matter.

  9. At the risk of sounding like a cynic did anyone hear why the announcer said the anthem wouldn’t be played? He couldn’t possibly have thought that the crowd would just sit down and be quiet without a acceptable explanation.
