Here’s the update to the story we posted yesterday about the girl who accused students at a Christian school of assaulting her. I said it smelled of Smollett.

The sixth-grade girl at a private Virginia school who accused three classmates last week of forcibly cutting her hair now says the allegations were false, according to statements from the girl’s family and the principal at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield. School officials met with the girl and her family Monday morning before releasing the statement.
The 12-year-old, who is African American, said three white boy students held her down in a school playground a week ago during recess, covered her mouth, called her insulting names and used scissors to cut her hair.
The grandparents of the girl, who are her legal guardians, released an apology Monday.
“To those young boys and their parents, we sincerely apologize for the pain and anxiety these allegations have caused,” the grandparents wrote in a statement sent to The Washington Post by the school. “To the administrators and families of Immanuel Christian School, we are sorry for the damage this incident has done to trust within the school family and the undue scorn it has brought to the school. To the broader community, who rallied in such passionate support for our daughter, we apologize for betraying your trust.”
Yeah, the “grandparents wrote it.” I believe that like I believe the whistleblower wrote their accusation. – bfh
“We understand there will be consequences and we’re prepared to take responsibility for them,” the statement continued. “We know that it will take time to heal, and we hope and pray that the boys, their families, the school and the broader community will be able to forgive us in time.”
Messages left for family members seeking additional comment were not immediately returned.
The school’s principal, Stephen Danish, also issued a statement and sent an email to parents and community members.
“We can now confirm that the student who accused three of her classmates of assault has acknowledged that the allegations were false. We’re grateful to the Fairfax County Police Department for their diligent work to investigate these allegations,” Danish wrote. “While we are relieved to hear the truth and bring the events of the past few days to a close, we also feel tremendous pain for the victims and the hurt on both sides of this conflict. We recognize that we now enter what will be a long season of healing.”
You feel pain for the false accuser??? Really? In what respect? I’ll buy it if you go all the way with your statement and say you feel bad that the girl is a psycho who has been raised to believe there is racism all around her, and when none shows itself she fabricates some in order to validate HER RACIST WORLDVIEW. -bfh

You betrayed their trust by admitting the truth. Most of these incidents are hoaxes. The “broader community” knows that. The truth is irrelevant.
The default position has to be false on these. The percentage that are proven true shrinks to insignificance when compared to the percentage that are proven to be fakes.

My reasons for thinking this was a hoax-
– School said adults are on playground at all times.
– No way students have scissors on them
– The girl is not ugly (like the boys supposedly said)
– and the number one reason…. the complaint as charged was not racism – “they held me down and called me ugly.”
In order to make it racist they needed to add an element. They chose nappy.
There is no way 6th grade Catholic school boys are going to say “we’re gonna cut off your nappy hair.” That’s a detail only a black person would add.
And f*ck the media, adding the Mrs. Pence angle. They are not innocents in this.
News update;
It turns out that the girl was able to hospitalize two dozen older boys who were all trying to rape her and cut off her nappy hair. The boys announced that raping her was their “white privilege” but she ‘fought like a girl’ ™ and left them all in the ER, muttering “The future is female, I guess”. She did this all while doing her STEM homework with her other hand and she did all the exercises without error. All of this was accomplished while she was being oppressed by the patriarchy.

The girl should be expelled and forced to find another school. She has done serious damage to the school, it’s reputation, and the students who were falsely accused. To think anyone will treat her without this incident in mind in the future is ludicrous. Take her away from there.
This is behavior that could cause serious repercussions in the community and should also have serious consequences. Make her apologize to the boys personally and to the student body publicly as a lesson to all otherwise it will never end.

When I was a kid ~ 1965 or 1966 a bunch of cowboys grabbed some hippies and used sheep shears on them. It was Montana and even though it did make the newspapers I don’t remember the hippies making a big fuss about it.

The punishment for false allegation of a crime should be exactly the same as that for the alleged crime itself. This was an attempt to inflict life ruination on others. In a just world it would ruin hers.

No, I don’t think she should be expelled… I think having to FACE the students you accused every day is a GREAT punishment. Also… the blowback from her classmates in general. Who the hell would EVER trust her as a friend going forward? Or Parents or Teachers that deal with her?
She’ll be leaving for HS soon enough… she can then start fresh there. Hopefully she’ll learn something about her actions.
Also… The School should re-teach the 10 Commandments. Make a point of revisiting #9… “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
and another thing that bothered me about the article. Why was it important to point out that the school doesn’t tolerate LGBT behavior or actions? That tidbit has nothing to do with the story whatsoever.

In an interview she said she often thought that she should never have been born. Then she said the kids said to her, “you shouldn’t have been born.”
That was a red flag for me that the story was fake.
It could also be a sign that this girl may be in need of some psychological intervention.
I hope she gets help if she needs it.
I usually ignore crappy comments like that, as I’m sure most people do. But it’s getting icky out there and I worry that comments like that will be used to defame all of us here. New people might not understand that… yet. Got to protect our little Community. 🙂
Since the VP was involved, if only because the wife was there part-time, Barr (or the President) should order the FBI (agents that can be trusted) in for a full investigation of the incident. Let no stone go unturned and get a full story on this out to the people. Who coached this child, why was she used, what was the aim, who was behind the original idea etc etc. Lay charges where appropriate and don’t let a person’s color become their shield as has been happening so much lately. Bring the full force of the federal government to bear to find out and report the full truth to the public.

I think we should expect to see a lot of phony baloney “scandals” targeting everyone surrounding POTUS Trump. This was no coincidence. Someone, somewhere, has a white board full of POTUS connections and their connections. Who knows that that someone didn’t connect with the girl on FB or other social media and concoct this story? Who knows if the girl’s mom wasn’t involved?
