This is Norm MacDonald in 1998 at the ESPY Awards.
Not only does he open with a joke about Bill Clinton and interns, he goes on to tell a few others that would not only not get a laugh at today’s ESPYs, he would be booed.
Take for instance this “joke” about East German athletes.
I truly am saddened that the audience in 1998 not only acknowledges that there was a problem with “gender” cheating, they start to applaud that MacDonald brings it up.
It’s not even remotely a funny joke in 2017 because the left doesn’t care about commie shitbags trying to cheat by slipping men into the women’s events, they can simply enter in full view and the left has made it verboten to object, calling you an unenlightened Neanderthal if you do. Gender is meaningless!!!
Equally sad, a lot of the audience laughing and clapping in 1998 are the ones clucking their tongues in 2017. Are they more enlightened, or are they virtue signal asswipes who have made society less “fair” and more absurd?
(Also, MacDonald’s closing O joke would be nixed.)
OTOH, in 2017, we still have Colonel Sanders, the whitest character ever on TV, and Norm made him hip. You can’t keep a good problematic man down.

I was just thinking today of SNL’s treatment of Dr Renee Richards who was a professional tennis player who underwent a sex change operation. Chevy Chase did Weekend Update then and made a joke about the size of his/her penis. The crowd loved it and I laughed. Today he’d be ridden on a rail out of town with a joke like that. Ahh the good old days
But, you see, in order to get from 1998 to 2017 they had to deny science and make up ridiculous “truths” in order to create their superior progressive society.
And when it’s based on lies, it won’t stick.
