The Minneapolis City Government has, essentially, given this advice to its residents, having given up on law and order because, well, leftism.

Apparently during the 6 pm newscast, there was a story about an attempted rape of an 8 year old girl. Right after that story, they switched to weather. Tex Antoine said “with rape so predominant in the news lately, it is well to remember the words of Confucius: if rape is inevitable, lie back and enjoy it.” He was never seen on air again on WABC. He resurfaced briefly on WNEW Channel 5 in 1978 and then retired. |

When government does not make a good faith effort they have forfeit their monopoly on dispensation of justice. At that juncture the concept of vigilantism no longer legitimately applies within that government’s jurisdiction.
Any government that has publicly abdicated their responsibility to make a good faith effort and has unilaterally renounced the responsibility they have under the social contract has by default taken claims regarding legitimacy regarding their holding a monopoly on dispensation of justice off the table.
My God, only a fool would argue that sane men would consent to abdicate their right to protect themselves and their property to a government that had no intention to make a good faith effort to protect the public.

So,,, Friday morning the wife informed me she was going to the chiropractor and the gun store.
