Who Do You Side With? – IOTW Report

Who Do You Side With?

Here’s a test that was sent in by Sam S.

I took it, and as God was my witness, I did NOT choose Trump at the end of this quiz, yet it’s telling me I side with Trump, by a slim margin, over Cruz.

  1. I’ll go take the test, but it is not Donald’s current issues I have issues with, it’s his 40+ years of being a democrat and a democrat funder I have a problem with. He funded his likely opponent. It’s as if he created what he now wants destroyed. Why trust him now?

  2. Trump 91%
    Cruz 88%
    Kasich 76%
    Followed by 2 Libertarians 73%, 71%.

Okeydokey! If everyone gets Trump do we all think alike or was this survey made by Trump Polling ™?

  3. Scrolling down, this what the site said about me:

    “Right-Wing
Your political beliefs would be considered strongly Right-Wing on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote economic freedom and a society based on morals and values.”

    It been a good day!

    Goodnight kids!

  4. Here’s where thy peg me:

    Trump: 96%
    Cruz: 92%
    Austin Powers: 81%
    Kasich: 68%
    Johnson: 66%
    Sanders: 8%
    Clinton: 7%

BTW, Kasich is so far back, his name is still being spell-checked!

“Loco, We all know you swallow.”

Brad cut the crap. You are not Trump and you can’t get away with it. Enough already.

  6. Meerkat Brzezinski,

Loco and I are friends, even though we appear to be on opposite ends of the political spectrum. That was a joke, judging by his responce he took it as a joke, so lighten the fuck up.

  7. 93% Cruz, 84% Trump.

I liked this: You side strongly towards “Individualism”, meaning you strongly support free market policies that create opportunity for personal liberty and success.

  8. This is interesting, Ithe first time through I just answered yes or no, I did it again answering within the additional responses, here is the difference:

Candidate: yes or no result / additional response result
    Trump: 96% / 82%
    Cruz: 92% / 93%
    Austin Powers: 81% / 82%
    Kasich: 68% / 82%
    Johnson: 66% / 65%
    Sanders: 8% / 30%
    Clinton: 7% / 31%

  9. 93% Cruz
    91% Trump
    78% Austin Peterson (? eh ?) Libertarian

    Right-Wing Libertarian
Your political beliefs would be considered strongly Right-Wing and moderately Libertarian on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote free market capitalism and smaller government.

The zip code isn’t mine but what’s 30-40 miles. I am like more voters in southern states than Ohio.
Brian in BC and I are both Individualists. Pass the Canadian Ice Wine please. I could do with a healthy dose.

  10. On a side note, it’s Friday night, three days to go before Wisconsin. Watching Fox tonight and they are on a full on Trump bashing fest. Things are getting really transparent. The GOP is on a full court press. My money’s on Trump.

  11. Loco and Brad, I’m sorry. But I have been taking a hiatus from my favorite site for the most part. I check in every now and then, but the whole Trump/Cruz thing was becoming pretty bad for awhile. I get it. Sorry for the jab, Brad. I didn’t realize it was in jest. Now, where the hell is my beer?

  12. Meerkat, There’s a lot of us here that are a little opinionated. But I know most will rise to the occasion when the time comes. I know you are one of them. Which ever way it goes. If you’ve read any of my posts you know my fears.

  13. Right-Wing
Your political beliefs would be considered moderately Right-Wing on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote economic freedom and a society based on morals and values.

I thought i would trend more libertarian but alas, i am more like my father. Cranky..Lovable… old… GET OFF MY LAWN type.

  14. So at this point can we all politically savvy IOTW’ers say that we had fun with this self-evaluation and declare it to be complete and utter bullshit?

  15. Meerkat, I’m Pro Manufacturing. I’m anti fucked up trade shit that has destroyed our economy. I’m Pro Wall. I’m Pro Defense Spending because I watched Reagan re ignite our economy starting there. I’m Pro Vet and they deserve to have as good as health care as anybody in the country because they laid their ass on the line. I’m Pro America. Let’s fix this shit.

  16. “Does this guy Bad Brad throw a wrench into the conversation
all of the time, or only once in a while?”

All the time weak sister. You should probably check out the Right Scoop

  17. Cruz & Trump both 93% and some libertarians at 88%. Hillary 8%, Bernie 0%.

Says I prefer tough love and those looking for a hand out can go pound sand.

    Pretty much right on.

  18. I was not able to use the “how important is this” slider thing on the left for some reason, so my results are going to be a bit flawed. I do support Cruz first and Trump second. Who the fuck is Petersen, Johnson, and Feldman?

    Cruz 84%
    Petersen? 82%
    Trump 79%
    Feldman 75%
    Johnson 73%
    sanders 24%
    clinton 13%

I wrote in several answers, and I’m sure they didn’t take the time to read my answers — like the one about ousting 0bama (instead of that Syrian leader) so isis would lose its main source of funding and support, etc.

I’m a little offended; sanders and clinton should have been 0%. I’ve never agreed with either of them except when they insulted each other.

  19. Trump’s positions on the policies that really matter are stances he’s been speaking of since he entered the race. Cruz has been brought kicking and screaming into backing some of them and still is dead wrong about others like trade authority.

So when this poll matches up my positions to theirs, it’s not taking that into account.

    That being said
    Cruz-95%
    Trump/Peterson 86%

  20. Took it again after I got the “importance” slider working. It does make a difference:

    Cruz 92
    Trump 86
    Petersen 75
    Feldman 69
    Johnson 58
    Sanders 12
    Clinton 9

They say I side with Donald Trump on most Electoral issues, with Ted Cruz on most Social issues, and with Trump on most Immigration issues.

    Right-Wing Libertarian

Your political beliefs would be considered moderately Right-Wing Libertarian on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote free market capitalism and smaller government.

    * That last sentence is right on the money. I hate government intrusion and overstepping as much as I hate 0bama and Hillary.

  21. Cruz barely edged out Trump, but there are other factors besides stated positions on issues. I think likelihood of winning the general election is a factor, and on that I find Ann Coulter’s electoral map more persuasive than aggregate percentage polls, which 1) I believe to be distorted by Nevertrumpers, and 2) aren’t the way we elect the POTUS anyway.

  22. Trump 91, Cruz 91

    Right-Wing Libertarian

Your political beliefs would be considered moderately Right-Wing Libertarian on an ideological scale, meaning you tend to support policies that promote free market capitalism and smaller government.

You side strongly towards “Small Government”, meaning you strongly believe the government is overly bureaucratic, inefficient, and wasteful. This theme is more important to you.

  23. I sent out this survey to everyone in my email address list about 6 months ago or so.

I didn’t get anyone responding, so I guess politics is something that should be left in blogs like this.

That said, for me, it was Rand Paul then Scott Walker. Trump wasn’t even included at the time.

I answered all the questions then, including the extras and wrote in for expanded answers. Obviously the time I spent didn’t have any impact on how I must now vote.

I should save myself the time, say NONE OF THE ABOVE, and search for survival techniques moving forward.

Both mainstream political parties have screwed our country so bad. They have helped corporations, killed small business and the middle class, lined their own pockets, reduced our standing in the world militarily, financially and educationally.

The people living on the margins are worse today than ever, the people of wealth are are becoming more miserly and somehow common sense has been discarded like an old dirty diaper.

So, “who do I side with”? My answer is common sense, which doesn’t appear to be running in this upcoming election.

  24. Cruz 93%, Austin Petersen 91%, Trump 87%, Marc Allen Feldman 79%, Gary Johnson 68%.

I think all you have to do is say yes to legalize pot to pick up all kinds of Libertarians.

    Right Wing Libertarian for ideology
