Yup. Like the H.S. English teachers who LOVE getting to “The Crucible” and reading Jonathan Edwards’ unfortunate “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” in order to smugly point out what hateful, narrowminded groupthink drones people on the Right are.
Yet they’re the same ones who now would love to see you beaten or murdered for not wearing a mask.
Today I Finally got out to do some clothes shopping and window shopping after a long drought of closed stores and covid BS. I approached the TJ Maxx store and read the missive on their door with Social Distance requirements and their expectation that all customers will wear a mask. About Face and back to my car. I ain’t wearing a mask and if they don’t need my money, fine.

Him: It seems that you should be a huge proponent of wearing masks. Wouldn’t it be great if state and local governments said, “do whatever you want, just wear a mask”? Or would that be too restrictive?
Me: Why in the world would I be a proponent of wearing masks? What have I said that indicates that?
Me: Why haven’t we been required to wear masks since the Bubonic Plague? It seems a ‘common sense’ measure.
If someone has a sign out front saying masks required, I ignore it. Haven’t been kicked out of anyplace yet.
