  1. IDK. Tyler Perry is a narcissist. The constant, “Mmms” and “yeahs” from the person listening are just fuel that the narcissist needs. He is speaking to her to fuel his narcissism and she is supplying him with fuel with her affirmitive “Mmms” and “yeahs”. Its a symbiotic interaction.

Interesting perspective, though he speaks much truth here. He has experienced this very thing.
Is it labeled narcissistic if what you say is absolute reality?

  3. She’s egging him on with each affirmation. I imagine there were a number of people formerly in Perry’s circle who didn’t like being called toxic. I wonder if any of them have responded?

  4. YES!! Annoying! And to the person that talks or reacts verbally during a movie, my friend does that! So much, that I refuse to see a film with them because it’s annoying. I’d rather go to the theater alone. I mentioned that to them, and they don’t even realize they’re doing it! They never notice the people that turn around to look at them!
