  1. Paging all gun owners…

Good morning. Question for you all, please. Wife and I picked up our guns yesterday (M&P 380 Shield for her, Ruger 9mm for me). Have broken down both and they look very well oiled, especially the Ruger, and appear clean to my very untrained eye. We plan to go to the range next weekend; should they need cleaning before the first day out? Or are they good to go out of the box? Thanks…

  2. Br-r-r! Great images, Claudia. Thanks, especially for that owl!

@grool – While your pistols probably don’t need cleaning, I suggest that you do so anyway. First, it is a good familiarization exercise, and second, the before/after experience will show you any parts that might need more cleaning care than others. Which Ruger do you have? My every day carry is the LC9S Pro.

  3. Thank you Al, I got the EC9s. I’m happy with on reputation and reviews alone but just ordered some 1.25″ grip extensions, you can understand why. Really looking forward to shooting it.
