Make no mistake, Marsalis does not like statues of Robert E. Lee. He helped get one taken down. But he hates Rap more than the statues.

Interesting Marsalis story – “Skip” Gates of beer summit fame does a PBS show about tracing ancestry. In the Marsalis episode he tells Marsalis he has a white man in his family tree. Of course, the discussion went to how white slave owners raped their pure slave women who were monogamous and never would have produced children willy nilly.
The record showed this male ancestor married the black woman, they produced the Marsalis line and stayed married.

Although I can’t stand Jazz and am not a big fan of Wynton Marsalis, he does have a valid point.
TMZ showed a rapper in Alabama pulling a white girl onstage to sing with him.
The song lyrics use “nigger” fifty or more times.
She sings along and the rapper stops “singing” to chastise her for saying nigger, LYRICS HE WROTE!
The crowed booed the girl too.
Ignorant bitch was set up.

I hope she received a valuable lesson and now only listens to Norwegian Speed Metal.
