  1. I pray that the little momentum that we have keeps on growing. Our grandkids have no idea what they are in for. He endorses Cruz. We have a lot of work to do. Damn, what a mess we have.

  2. I have mostly done the same thing. The only reason I keep my registration as R is to addend the MN caucus. But after this year, if the GOPe get their way, I will change my registration to Independent.

  3. Great article. But pretty scary. Who can we trust? I hope Trump or Cruz make it to the top. I’d trust either of them to make good cabinet choices and clean this cesspool out.

“Our form of government was designed for good and moral people.” John Adams ?

  4. I live in Illinois, the only time I have to declare is at the primary, so I always pull a democrat card and choose the biggest goofs. Come election time I get to pick and choose among the goofs from all parties, but it doesn’t matter because they’re all goofs.

I’ve towed the GOP line for many years, however in recent years I don’t know why. It’s like a choice between asshole and asshole light. They’re both assholes, why not pick the biggest asshole?

  5. When I moved to a new open primary state, registered Indy and haven’t looked back.
I have to say, it sure cut down on the campaign crap, no more calls at dinner time and the mailbox is surprisingly empty.

  6. “The next day I will begin working my tail off for the next twelve months to organize Independents to help elect Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)96%
as President of the United States. Cruz is the only candidate who both understands the left’s agenda and has demonstrated the courage to fight for our liberties, our sovereignty, and the survival of constitutional government.”~Tom Tancredo

Read that again, slower this time and try to comprehend it!

  7. Remember when the GOPe stood by silently while the star of the party, Sarah Palin, was trashed 24/7? They have been bought off for a long time. My horrified guess is that when the radicals bought the dem party in ’92, they also made a deal the Repubes couldn’t refuse.

  8. Meerkat, that website has Minnesota wrong. We don’t have an open primary but a closed caucus. I attended the 2012 caucus for the Republicans but had to register R before I could attend. 2016 caucus is March 1.

Had been Independent all my life prior to 2012.
