A passage from the Koran that denies one of the central tenets of the Christian faith was sung aloud at a cathedral service in Scotland.

Look at these idiots, YES, IDIOTS, sitting there while some Muslim sings in their church that Jesus wasn’t the son of God.

It’s WHY YOU HAVE THE GREAT CATHEDRAL you jerks. What else is it all about? Money?? Diversity??? “Fairness”??????

Pack up and leave. You’re not a messenger, you’re a water boy for Muhammad.

Breitbart– The passage from Surah 19, which specifically denies that Jesus was the Son of God and says He should not be worshipped, was sung during a Eucharist service at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow to mark the feast of the Epiphany.

A video of the recital was posted on YouTube showing a girl singing the passage in a typical Islamic style. It narrates the Islamic account of the birth of Jesus, which includes the claim that Mary was “ashamed” after giving birth, and the infant Christ miraculously spoke from the cradle – something not found in Christian scripture.

She then concludes by singing verse 35, which states in translation: “It befitteth not the Majesty of Allah that He should take unto Himself a son,” and then verse 36, which has the infant Jesus saying: “And lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him. That is the right path.”

The cathedral praised the reading in a Facebook post, calling it a “wonderful event”.

However, retired Anglican bishop Michael Nazir-Ali strongly condemned it, saying it was especially inappropriate for the feast of the Epiphany, which celebrates the revelation of Christ as the Son of God.

  1. Welp, it’s an Anglican church. No surprise there. I can speak with a bit of authority on the Anglican/Episcopal “Church.” Their Bibles were packed up ages ago and that’s why the idiots sat there submissively.

  2. I also can speak from authority about the Episcopal Church. They are a leftist organization they are not at church. They talk about God, but only in ways that forward the leftist agenda. The cherry pick the Bible, and claim any parts that they don’t agree with as being errors. They are heretics.

  3. Speaking of post-Christianity “churches”, did anyone else see this story?

I thought this was bad until I learned that these 2 replaced a transgender “pastor” ……. at a “baptist” church.

I think the “falling away” that the Apostle Paul wrote of is in full bloom.

  4. So very sacrilegious and disrespectful, in the HOUSE of God no less! If I were a catholic, I could only imagine how much more upset I’d be. As a christian I can only sit here and fume, praying that this sort of evil does not continue in other churches.

  5. Spiritual demographics at work.

Doesn’t matter what one’s denominational label is…if you come into conflict with someone who actually believes their doctrines more strongly than you believe your own, you can’t win.

If you don’t really believe yours at all…if you know it’s just powerless traditional trappings and empty ritual…your opponent will almost certainly convert you when his knife is at your neck.

What we see in Europe is just the beginning of that. It’s already started and there’s no spiritual power left there to oppose much less stop it.

  6. None of this is surprising. Etiquette can replace religious beliefs.
In the Episcopal Church it already has. Etiquette (and comfortable shoes)
is devoutly worshiped by Episcopalians worldwide.

  7. Calling yourself a Christian doesn’t make it so. (Look at Preezy)

“If Satan appears to you, he’ll be wearing the robes of a priest.”— wise old proverb.
    Believe and question.

  8. “If Satan appears to you, he’ll be wearing the robes of a priest.”— wise old proverb.

Yep. That’s pretty much what the apostle Paul warned about Satan’s ministers of righteousness who appear to work on behalf of Light.
