He didn’t shake her hands, and I applaud him for it. Later when they answered questions from the press, Merkel remarked to him, “Should we shake hands”? And Trump flat out ignored her. It was a beautiful moment.

What really happened at the meeting is of no moment; the fake Americans that rely on the legacy media for the news will swallow their reports hook, line, and sinker.

I have seen the non-handshake video and the requests for Trump to shake hands with Merkel are quite audible. That said, I considered it a non-issue because there is a strong chance that Trump didn’t hear the request, plus the fact that he did shake her hand later.
That said, pulling video of a handshake that occured later than the reported non-handshake and attempting to use that out of context to supposedly prove the media was lying about the non-handshake qualifies far more as “fake news” than the initial non-handshake report. You knew quite well that the video of them shaking hands was NOT the non-handshake the media was referring to, so why present it that way? You can’t complain about fake news when you’re engaging in the very same tactics.
