House member Bob Brady (D-1st District of Pennsylvania) is under investigation by the FBI for paying his opponent $90,000 to drop out of the race for his seat this last fall.
Unsealed court documents reveal that the FBI is after Brady for making unlawful campaign contributions and for trying to conceal those payments, not bribery outright.
You may remember Bob Brady as the weirdo who made off with the pope’s unfinished glass of water and then shared it with friends and family a few years ago.
Bribery falls within the every day is accepted political practices of the Democratic Party. what’s the problem?
Base congressional salary is $174,000 per year. Plus benefits. If this douche is giving away $90,000, he must be reaping tons of benefits. This man needs a complete colonoscopy by the FBI. If only we could trust them.

In my view the guy who took the bribe is worse than the guy who offered it. But both are scum.
What a cluster. Bribery is ok, hiding the payments isn’t.
But what about the hidden payments from foreign governments to congressmen & senators?
And the hidden payments, of taxpayer’s money, to victims of sexual harassment, assault by congressmen & senators? I guess some hidden payments are ok & others are not.
