An undocumented immigrant being held in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash has been formally charged, the Denver District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.
Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda, 26, has been charged with one count of vehicular homicide-DUI and one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
Zamarripa-Castaneda was driving a pickup truck shortly before midnight on Saturday when he allegedly caused a fiery accident involving a semitruck near eastbound Interstate 70 and North Brighton Boulevard.
The crash resulted in the death of the 57-year-old driver of the semitruck. The semitruck driver has not been identified.

Willy had this story a couple of days ago and nailed it. He said it was an illegal, and he had good reason to know so. But we hesitated going on the record because of the litigious atmosphere surrounding “fake news.”
And what is even more outragous is that Denver DA is planning on releasing him on his $25,000 bail regardless of his illegal status. They are a sanctuary city you know.
I should like to see a law passed that whenever an illegal or paroled criminal causes the life of an innocent to be taken the government bureaucrat that last had contact with said law breaker gets a digit cut off. When they hit 3 fingers the anti goes up to limbs.
That way the faceless, nameless bureaucrats might take a little ownership in how they discharge their responsibilities.

Publish those numbers MONTHLY and see the tide of public opinion turn against these illegal alien invaders.
