Caught In The Act!

Images from:

1 Sarthurk (Kaydee and Sunny) They claim that they were just making sure that the hydrogen sulfide mud flat in front of the house is as deep as it used to be. For some reason, they never got loose from their kennel during high tide. Kaydee and Sunny in their prime.
2 Little Sis (Pistol) I don’t know what he did, but he sure looks guilty!
3 Mansfield Lovell (Auggie Doggie) She managed to destroy our front window blinds when a squirrel was outside in our yard. She also got into some Mardi Gras beads – it was right before Fat Tuesday.
4 Jethro
5 Marilyn (Maverick) This was Maverick. I lost him a few years ago. But one of my favorites, coming out of one of my ornament boxes, caught in the act. A face only a mother could love. Miss him dearly.
6 Truckbuddy (Sammy and Callie)
7 Truckbuddy (Sammy)
8 Mickey Moussaoui (picnic dinner)

  1. Love pets, have had 7 bird dogs since I first bought my house. 63 yearsago my folks had an assertive cat. 3 or 4 tims a year he would make the macTavish’s “Cocky” a bloody mess. When Shaun would com to my dad to complain Dad would give him som Scotch culture. “Tis nay the size of the dawg in the fight…..”! Shawn did not care for Dad!e
Being a Celt Shaun did not spell his name like an Anglo Sean Im sure. Not sure how he spelled it; but not Anglo!

  2. Hope everyone isn’t getting sick of my Sammy pics. Sammy is a freakin’ treasure trove of cute.

Think I might be a little nervous if I had bears eating at my backyard picnic table 😃

Great photos all! Thanks Claudia. 🙂

  3. Mornin’ and great pics everyone, an eclectic week!

I don’t know, it seems what I have experienced and have seen in a lot of critter vids, dogs seem to take on the guilt WAAY more than the kitties…of course it does go back to personalities…

    Thanks C!

  4. Always great to see the cats and dogs and bears and deer and other animals on Sundays. It helps me remember that there are always some other things to look at during the last month of a year that seemed interminably deranged.

  5. Then there was the time that Sunny (the muddy culprit on the right) disappeared for about two hours and I gave up looking for him. Later I went outside and he was parked in front of the garage with most of a deer carcass that had been dead for a long time. Mudflat mud smells a whole lot better that That!

  7. The deer photo made me think of the W.C. Field’s line, “Go way kid your bothering me” and the bears are great, they are the democrats of the wild world always looking for a free lunch.

  8. This thread is one of THE best little threads on the entire internet, never mind this one site.
