  1. @Brown Eyed Girl–

There are crosses on the ends of some of the pews, but I agree—there should be a cross on the altar. Is this an Episcopal church? If so, it would explain the lack of crosses (they’d ignore the pew ends because it would cost $$$ to remove/replace those).

  2. Little children need no repentance, neither baptism. Behold, baptism is unto repentance to the fulfilling the commandments unto the remission of sins. But little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world; if not so, God is a partial God, and also a changeable God, and a respecter to persons; for how many little children have died without baptism!

Wherefore, if little children could not be saved without baptism, these must have gone to an endless hell. Behold I say unto you, that he that supposeth that little children need baptism is in the gall of bitterness and in the bonds of iniquity; for he hath neither faith, hope, nor charity; wherefore, should he be cut off while in the thought, he must go down to hell. For awful is the wickedness to suppose that God saveth one child because of baptism, and the other must perish because he hath no baptism. Wo be unto them that shall pervert the ways of the Lord after this manner, for they shall perish except they repent.

  3. This “photo” doesn’t quite pass the sniff test. Something’s not right with it. Whether it is the lack of a cross (or Crucifix) or the “squirt gun” baptism. It aint right.

  4. The Cross may be piece of wood hanging in the center.
Could be a multi- use type of place. I’ve been to a building that Lutherans or somebody shared with a Jewish temple part time.

I hope it’s a joke. It’s rude to the child, at the very least.

  5. I think it is real. The cross is hanging from above, you can see the lower part in the picture. I’ve been in a lot of churches with this configuration. Dad and Mom smiling, the hands on the left holding a phone for the picture. This is where we are with too many people now. A mockery of the sacrament to please the Karens in the congregation.

  6. 99th is right its real. I have seen many like it on the web.
Many churches have drained there fonts of holy water.
The priest is going to shoot the kids eye out.
