Overview

  1. According to data from the best-studied countries and regions, the lethality of Covid19 is about 0.2%, which is in the range of a severe influenza (flu) and much lower than initially assumed.
  2. Even in the global “hotspots”, the risk of death for the general population of school and working age is typically in the range of a daily car ride to work. The risk was initially overestimated because many people with only mild or no symptoms were not taken into account.
  3. Up to 80% of all test-positive persons remain symptom-free. Even among 70-79 year olds, about 60% remain symptom-free. Over 95% of all persons develop mild symptoms at most.
  4. Up to 60% of all persons may already have a certain cellular background immunity to Covid19 due to contact with previous coronaviruses (i.e. common cold viruses).
  5. The median or average age of the deceased in most countries (including Italy) is over 80 years and only about 4% of the deceased had no serious preconditions. The age and risk profile of deaths thus essentially corresponds to normal mortality. In many countries, up to two thirds of all extra deaths occurred in nursing homes, which do not benefit from a general lockdown. Moreover, in many cases it is not clear whether these people really died from Covid19 or from extreme stress, fear and loneliness.

  1. An expert’s career and ego depends on being right about predictions made in their area of expertise. This makes what they say static rather than fluid, fluid being reality. Real scientists speak about what we know and don’t know. They change their predictions as new information comes in. They know they are looking at a problem from only one perspective so they offer probabilities with many reservations and cautions. In short they are careful and reserved. We didn’t see that with Fauci and Berx.

  2. Thanks for posting this paper, Claudia. It needs to be read and forwarded to everyone concerned about the harmful social and political aspects of the Covid19 Virus. And thank you, Dadof4, for bringing it to our attention this morning.

  3. This, from the prestigious Scmulafstecheizerschnauzer Clinic in Vienna:

Fauci the Clown and the virus were scams to prepare and fund riots (all that unemployment money and zoom meetings didn’t go to waste).

We have to push back – HARD.

  4. I’m glad it wasn’t passed over, Marco.

Thank you for presenting it, Claudia.

I think it’s one of those things that should be shared with loved ones and not-so-loved ones. My lefty friends have a hard time believing anything that doesn’t comes from MSDNC or CNN, though.

  5. Yeah, pretty much as I have always thought, an overhyped flu. Just examining the data coming out of Italy early on, it was obvious that the vulnerable seniors were almost exclusively the victims with healthy, younger people unaffected. The resulting shutdowns were a ridiculous overreaction.
