These Detransitioners Have A Message For Distressed Girls: Mangling Your Body Is A Sickness, Not A Cure

Federalist:

The Detransition Diaries: Saving Our Sisters” is a cautionary tale that exposes not only how influential the spread of trans ideology is on social media and in doctors’ offices, schools, and therapy sessions, but also how that same ideology weaponizes vulnerable young women’s identity struggle against them.

The film from the Center for Bioethics and Culture documents the testimonies of three women — Helena, Cat, and Grace — who went through various forms of so-called “gender-affirming” prescriptions and procedures only to discover that the wrongly named “treatments” marketed to make them feel better about their bodies did more harm than good.

The featured women do not shy away from mentioning the irreversible procedures and damage this mutilative movement had on their bodies and souls, but they also don’t leave viewers feeling hopelessly doomed in a world that works overtime to normalize the destruction of healthy bodies.

The documentary starts with the women explaining not just how they learned about transgender ideology but why it appealed to them.

“I don’t think anybody would have described me as gender nonconforming, or a tomboy or anything like that,” Helena admitted.

Though Helena said she never would have been considered “gender nonconforming” or even a tomboy, after hours of scrolling Tumblr, the social contagion of transgender ideology took root in her mind and began fueling her mental health problems. more

  2. One of my nieces has a son. I guess she wanted a daughter because she started having him wear girl’s clothes. He should be around 12 or 13 now.
From the recent family photos I have seen, they have put him through prepubescent chemical or physical castration. He has the body shape of a eunuch. He doesn’t dress like a girl now. He dresses like a drag queen, or perhaps his mother dresses him like a drag queen. They are haute couture now, after all. Will he make it to 30 before he offs himself?

  3. One of my friends told me her minor daugther is a “he” now. My reaction was tempered, but I could hear my own surprise, even if I didn’t say anything. I think my friend picked up on that, and felt very, very stupid – for a few seconds, anyway.

  4. I believe a lot of this transgender crap is a mental illness, like an eating disorder, some of it I believe is a mental illness with the parents. Then some of it I believe is kids wanting attention. I can remember when it was an embarrassment for a teen girl to get pregnant, then I can remember when it started becoming the in thing to do because the pregnant girls got so much attention in schools and teen pregnancy started going through the roof.
Then I remember when the lesbian fad started when my daughter was in HS, suddenly all of these girls some who had been boy crazy started being lesbians and all got attention for doing it. Most of them today are straight married women with kids.
The problem with this fad is even worse than the pregnant teen fad as even though a lot of babies born to teen moms came into the world, their lives weren’t over.
With this fad there is no going back, when you grow up and realize you are the sex you were born, you can’t fix it.

We were all kids we all know the stupid stuff we did, the stupid stuff we thought we wanted to be, but we had parents who told us no and they didn’t care what x kid was doing, if x kid was jumping off a bridge would you jump off a bridge.

Sadly, we don’t have that anymore, we have parents who often are pushing this, we have teachers who work against parents who are trying to be the parent who says no.
All I know if I had young or teen kids today they wouldn’t be on social media and they wouldn’t be in school.
